About the role: This role manages procurement, contractual administration of subcontractors and major suppliers, ensuring client contract requirements and company policies and procedures are applied. Supporting CDC Development on all development project activities. Other responsibilities include: Lead procurement assessments and cost planning for new developments Oversee contract analytics and support contract administrators Coordinate and present weekly approval submissions and attend key meetings Manage quantity surveyor outputs and expectations Promote compliance with CDC policies and procedures (e.g. DA requirements) Monitor and manage all commercial aspects of construction contracts, identifying financial risks Control costs and negotiate subcontractor terms in line with company protocols Analyse contractor pricing, rates, and quantities for accuracy and value Ensure contract obligations, milestones, and payments are tracked and reported effectively Maintain contract documentation, process variations, and support financial and administrative tasks What’s in it for you: CDC offers excellent employment conditions and benefits such as: CDC Academy -Mark your mark by enhancing your professional development with the CDC Academy. About you: This role would be suitable for someone with proven experience in contract administration, ideally with a strong background in procurement and financial management. You take a commercial, end-to-end view of contract operations across multiple projects and understand how to drive value through process, compliance, and stakeholder engagement. Experience in the construction industry will be highly regarded, though we’re open to candidates from other sectors who bring the right mindset and transferable skills. You bring the assurance that comes from experience, someone who can back themselves, make informed decisions, and build trusted relationships across the business. Advanced knowledge of Excel Demonstrated experience as a Contracts Administrator/Quantity Surveyor/Project finance, working on large multi-disciplined construction projects. Proven experience in the preparation of contract agreements Excellent written and verbal communication Ability to influence, negotiate and resolve conflict. A collaborative and diligent attitude to project delivery and deadlines Essential: Australian Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a NV1 Security Clearance.
