Job Description: Labourer (Steel Fixer Experience Preferred) Location: Yatala Pay Rate: $32–$36 per hour (depending on experience) Hours: Start between 5/6am; plenty of overtime available, paid at penalty rates. We are seeking a motivated Labourer to join our team in Yatala. Candidates with steel-fixing experience or a strong passion for working with various tools and power tools are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities: Equipment Inspection: Perform pre-shift inspections on all powered tools, ensuring they are in good working condition and reporting any issues. Collaboration with Foreman/Leading Hands: Work closely with leadership to understand daily objectives and requirements. Quality Assurance: Ensure all output meets quality standards and conduct post-pour QA checks and inspections. Compliance: Strictly adhere to health and safety standards to maintain a safe working environment. General Factory Duties: Assist with daily operations within the factory, including housekeeping and supporting other teams as needed to meet targets. Safety Protocols: Follow all safety guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure safe operations. Communication: Maintain clear communication with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks efficiently. Stock Management: Monitor and report stock levels to the Foreman. Skills & Qualifications: Steel-fixing experience is highly regarded. Familiarity with tools and power tools. Strong attention to detail and quality. Ability to work in a team environment and follow safety protocols. Physically fit and able to handle repetitive tasks.
