We are seeking an experienced Logistics Controller to lead and formalise the structure of our client’s logistics department. This pivotal role focuses on managing global freight movements, export logistics, and compliance requirements, ensuring smooth operations across international and domestic supply chains. The successful candidate will bring expertise, leadership, and a proactive approach to help the department thrive. Key Responsibilities: Oversee export logistics, including the preparation of commercial invoices and shipping documentation. Coordinate the planning and shipment of goods and materials in collaboration with freight forwarders. Ensure compliance with customs regulations, working closely with the customs broker. Support the Trusted Trader Program and ensure the organization meets all regulatory expectations. Manage inventory and prepare export-related data. Provide support to warehouse operations, with a primary focus on export logistics. Skills, Experience and Qualifications: Proven experience in global logistics coordination. Strong understanding of customs compliance and export documentation Experience managing or working within the Australian Trusted Trader (ATT) program, ensuring compliance with customs and supply chain security requirements (Highly desirable). Comfortable taking ownership in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Able to integrate quickly into a team with limited high-level logistics experience.
