About the role This is an exciting opportunity to join a high performing FP&A / commercial function - in a leading consumer goods organisation. It is a key business partner role, and a rare opportunity for a Financial Accountant to transition into the commercial finance space. Responsibilities: Business partner across the organisation 3-way modelling and cashflow management, cashflow forecasting Monthly profit estimates Work closely with Finance team and external stakeholders to own and manage ongoing forecasting Partner with Finance stakeholders to manage budget and forecast development and process Drive efficiencies in our systems and processes, exploring initiatives to eliminate manual or redundant tasks Development and ongoing maintenance of reporting templates in Excel and data models Work collaboratively with the finance team to identify and implement process improvements. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. CPA or CA certification preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role. Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards and regulations. Experience managing the month-end close process and preparing financial statements. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
