We are looking for an experienced Carpenter to join Palyku Resources and their Maintenance Team operating on a mine site in Pilbara.
This is a FIFO role with 8:6 roster.
Key accountabilities will include:
- Conduct building improvements to mine site and camp facilities.
- Conduct improvement works to facilities.
- Carry out required inspections.
- Conduct stock level reports and material lists.
- Work in a team environment alongside other tradesman and women.
- Schedule and plan workload.
- Work closely with the supervisor to ensure projects are completed on time and to specification.
- Maintain and clean tooling and equipment.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications and skills required:
- Certification in Painting or related field.
- Proven experience as a painter in a commercial or residential setting.
- Excellent knowledge of painting materials and techniques.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to scope maintenance works and small projects for material take off.
- Non-negotiable safety attitude to undertaking all tasks in a safe manner and complete all required documentation prior to commencing such task.
- Qualification to undertake working at heights duties for roof maintenance (Desirable)
- Unrestricted C class drivers’ licence
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Other tasks as required that fall within skill sets.
