We are looking for an experienced Carpenter to join Palyku Resources and their Maintenance Team operating on a mine site in Pilbara.

This is a FIFO role with 8:6 roster.

Key accountabilities will include:

Conduct building improvements to mine site and camp facilities.
Conduct improvement works to facilities.
Carry out required inspections.
Conduct stock level reports and material lists.
Work in a team environment alongside other tradesman and women.
Schedule and plan workload.
Work closely with the supervisor to ensure projects are completed on time and to specification.
Maintain and clean tooling and equipment.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications and skills required:

Certification in Painting or related field.
Proven experience as a painter in a commercial or residential setting.
Excellent knowledge of painting materials and techniques.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to scope maintenance works and small projects for material take off.
Non-negotiable safety attitude to undertaking all tasks in a safe manner and complete all required documentation prior to commencing such task.
Qualification to undertake working at heights duties for roof maintenance (Desirable)
Unrestricted C class drivers’ licence
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Other tasks as required that fall within skill sets.
