The Company Sharp and Carter are partnering with a market leading importer and wholesaler of construction and building materials who is currently looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join their finance team. The Role Reporting to the CFO, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Bank Reconciliations Credit Card Reconciliations Balance Sheet Reconciliations including Prepayments, Accruals and Deposits Management of Intercompany Loan Accounts Fixed Asset Register Maintenance including calculating gain/loss on disposal of assets Compliance work such as preparation of BAS and FBT returns General Journals, Recurring Journals and Depreciation Journals Reconciliation of Payables, Receivables and Stock Sub-Ledgers Calculate Monthly and Volume-Incentive Rebates for customers Cashflow Management for both AU/NZ entities Create and Design new Balance Sheet Schedules where identified/required Assist CFO with Profit & Loss queries for preparation of Month-End Reports Assist CFO in preparation of Budget Assist with Year-end Audits Assist CFO and other Senior Personnel with Reporting and Analysis when required The Candidate Tertiary qualified in an accounting or business degree Aspirations to completed or be part way through your CA/CPA 3 years professional accounting experience Extensive knowledge of accounting standards Advance skills using MS Excel (Pivot Tables, V-lookups, etc) Exceptional communication skills, with a proven ability to demonstrate initiative and have good attention to detail are essential.
