Company Overview Established in 1911, Police Association of SA (PASA) represents the professional and industrial interests of its members. With over 4,600 members drawn exclusively from sworn members (any rank) of South Australian Police, the association is affiliated with the Police Federation of Australia. PASA are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Executive Assistant (Membership Services) to join their team. Role Overview Reporting to the Secretary, the Executive Assistant (Membership Services) is required to perform various administrative functions in support of the President, Secretary, other PASA staff, the Committee of Management of PASA and/or the Editor of the Police Journal. Key responsibilities will include: Maintaining the accuracy and completeness of membership records and providing statistical reports in relation to relevant audiences as required; Updating records pertaining to delegates and the PASA branch structure as changes occur, including new member applications, resignations and retirements; Processing subscription billing runs, exemptions and rejections; Managing a publication and distribution database for the Police Journal; Assisting with other administrative support functions as required, like banking and administration of petty cash; Liaising with the Registered Organisations Services Branch, Australian Electoral Commission and other key internal and external stakeholders as required. Skills, Knowledge, and Experience The successful candidate must have previous administrative/clerical experience in a professional setting along with proficiency utilising information technology systems. PASA are seeking a professional Executive Assistant with strong verbal and written communication skills. Previous experience in a membership-based organisation is highly desirable, as is experience in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Software and membership databases or file management software. Candidates with bookkeeping experience and tertiary qualifications in business administration or similar will be highly regarded. Some out of hours work may be required.
