About the Role As Audit Director, you’ll lead high-quality external audits across a diverse client base, providing strategic direction, technical insight, and thought leadership. You’ll work closely with partners, manage a high-performing team, and engage directly with Boards and Audit Committees. Key responsibilities include: Leading multiple complex audit engagements across all phases Developing strategic client relationships and contributing to business growth Mentoring and developing audit talent at all levels Reviewing and signing off audit reports with precision and confidence Building subject matter expertise in the aged care and NFP sectors Representing the firm at industry events and forums About You You are a natural leader with: CA/CPA qualifications (RCA accreditation highly regarded) 10 years’ experience in external audit within Australia Strong technical knowledge of AASBs and ASAs A track record of managing complex audit jobs and high-performing teams A collaborative mindset with exceptional communication and stakeholder skills Experience or interest in the aged care, NFP or disability services sectors Proficiency in CaseWare or similar audit software and a strong grasp of Microsoft Office tools are essential.
