We are committed to excellence in all interactions with up to 700,000 visitors annually; and the Retail Manager (RM), plays a key role in in managing the Shrine's retail store and café'; a new catering, venue hire and event partnership; Shrine tours; and other paid visitor amenities. This role is responsible for the delivery of both strong revenue outcomes and to support the delivery of exceptional visitor experience. This role will also act as Duty Manager as required. The successful candidate will possess a proven track record of driving business growth and diversifying revenue in a customer facing operating environment, demonstrated success in inventory management and/or product development and extensive front-line management experience. The successful applicant will also possess significant retail management experience and will have highly developed communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills with persuasive abilities and capacity to build and influence networks. This role is offered on a permanent full-time basis 1.0 FTE. Availability to work Sunday through to Thursday.
