Job Description As General Manager – Child Safeguarding , you’ll lead the strategy, systems, and culture that ensure children’s safety and wellbeing are at the heart of everything we do at MACSEYE. Drive the implementation of the Child Safeguarding Strategy, embedding trauma-informed practices and child-centred decision-making Embed systems to ensure decision-making and policy align to the principles of child safeguarding and trauma-informed practice Build organisational capability to assess and manage risks to children, including the management of child related investigations Lead the development of a healthy reporting culture where concerns about child safety and wellbeing are raised and addressed confidently Provide expert guidance on child safe standards, reporting obligations, and high-risk safety matters to senior leaders and teams Promote continuous improvement by strengthening quality assurance systems, monitoring compliance, and ensuring MACSEYE meets legislative requirements
