We are currently seeking an experienced Chef to join our team in a full time role working 38 hours a week. Duties and Responsibilities: To cook guest's order according to their preference. To employ food safety and to make sure that all kitchen staff members do the same. To act with appropriate caution in a dangerous environment where there are knives and high-temperature surfaces. Selecting ingredients that will give dishes the best flavours. To determine food order and maintain appropriate supply at the restaurant. Undertaking extra duties occasionally such as cleaning whenever required. Applicants must hold a relevant qualification of AQF Certificate III in Commercial Cookery Cert IV in Kitchen Management Diploma in Hospitality Management. They must also have a minimum of a 2 years of relevant experience as a Chef post qualification. Skills: Knife Skills: Proper knife handling and cutting techniques for efficient food preparation. Cooking Methods: Proficient in various cooking techniques, including grilling, frying, sautéing, baking, and more. Food Safety and Sanitation: Maintaining a clean and safe work environment, proper food storage, and adherence to hygiene standards Time Management: Able to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
