About the Role Our client, a leading organisation within the Government sector , is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join their Information & Technologies branch. This role will primarily support critical Cyber Security initiatives, including Multi-Factor Authentication and Privileged Access Management projects. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-impact security programs while working in a flexible project environment where you may support multiple initiatives during your contract period. Key Responsibilities Lead and facilitate workshops with stakeholders to define business requirements, processes, and desired outcomes. Translate requirements into features, epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Act as a key liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring clear and open communication. Undertake investigative work to analyse business processes and recommend improvements. Take ownership of solution design and ensure alignment with industry best practices. Support organisational change by recommending enhancements to existing business processes and systems. Ensure all business benefits are traceable to system requirements. Collaborate with vendors to oversee development cycles and deliverables. About You We’re looking for someone who brings both expertise and adaptability to a fast-moving environment. You will have: 5 years’ experience in a Senior Business Analyst role. Strong skills in requirements gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder engagement. Proficiency with Business Process Modelling Notation (BPMN) . Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess business cases, define potential benefits, evaluate options, and identify risks associated with new or changed processes. Practical experience and sound understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and PRINCE2 Project Management methodologies . Added advantage if you have experience in delivering or supporting cyber security initiatives , including Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Privileged Access Management (PAM), or Identity and Access Management (IAM).
