My client is a specialist provider of safe and secure food product transport across Australia. With a strong industry reputation and a commitment to operational excellence, they are now seeking an experienced HR Manager to join the business on a 6–9 month fixed-term contract. In this hands-on role, you will work closely with the senior leadership team to lead and deliver HR initiatives across the full employee lifecycle. Supporting multiple sites, you will play a key role in recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, industrial relations, and broader HR operations. This hands-on position will include, but is not limited to, the following duties: Partner with senior leaders to deliver strategic and operational HR support Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes Guide employee relations and performance management matters Ensure compliance with Australian employment legislation and workplace health and safety (WHS) standards Manage workers' compensation claims and return-to-work plans Support ongoing industrial relations activities in a multi-site environment Oversee HR reporting, documentation, and system updates The ideal candidate will have: Proven experience in HR or Recruitment, ideally within the transport, logistics, or a related sector Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline would be an advantage A strong knowledge of Australian employment law, WHS legislation, and HR best practices would be an advantage Demonstrated ability to build trust and credibility with senior stakeholders Exceptional communication, organisational, and time management skills Confident using HR systems and MS Office suite If you're a proactive and dedicated HR professional who thrives in a hands-on, fast-moving environment, we want to hear from you!
