Description We're looking for proactive and ambitious individuals looking to get their foot in the door to the logistics industry. This is an entry level role for those with the right attitude and eagerness to learn! In this role you will be the engine behind smooth transport and warehouse operations—supporting the team, keeping things on track, and driving performance. From coordinating daily tasks to improving processes and hitting KPIs, you’ll play a key role in making the branch efficient, customer-focused, and ready for anything. Key Responsibilities: Assist in coordinating daily transport and warehouse activities and labour Help allocate resources and maintain smooth workflow across teams whilst managing budget considerations and overall productivity. Support labour planning, scheduling, and timesheet processing Ensure accurate documentation and team compliance with relevant safety standards, policies and legislative requirements. Liaise with local community, sales divisions in the company and customers to meet service expectations and uphold shared company values. Ensure timely and professional handling of freight and documentation. Support continuous improvement and development of both internal and external customer relationships and maximisation of business opportunities. Help ensure compliance with WHS, Chain of Responsibility, and other regulations and legislation to promote safe team members and overall workplace environment. Assure all aspects inductions and training are completed and upheld to ensure safety standards, and regulatory obligations. Report and escalate safety or compliance concerns when needed Maintain accurate records, files, and reports for operations and HSE activities Assist with KPI tracking, budget monitoring, and general admin duties to ensure high efficiency and productivity Skills And Experiences About You: A proactive and energetic attitude to work. Proven ability to work in a team and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication, presentation, conflict management and training skills. Experience utilising collaboration and coordination to exceed daily performance targets. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders at various levels, both peer and senior management. Strong time management and organisational skills, with detail and results being a key driver of internal motivation Adaptable and resilient to changes, corrections or shifts in the operational process to increase productivity and customer satisfaction.
