The UGL New Energy Team is seeking an experienced HSEQ Advisor to join our energy team. ABOUT THE POSITION ON OFFER It is a site-based FIFO/DIDO role, and you can be in WA/SA/QLD/VIC The HSEQ Advisor will report directly to the Project Manager & HSE Manager. You will be responsible for providing HSE advice, support, and direction to our project delivery teams on all HSE-related matters. Main responsibilities include: Providing a timely and responsible S&H service Involvement with the development of Work Packs – methodology and Risk assessments Ensuring compliance with the agreed mythology of activity as per the Work Pack and compliance with the organization’s S&H policy, procedures, and legislative requirements Assisting in investigating incidents and accidents, and responding with corrective actions Conduct regular synergy mobility inspections and audits. The successful candidate will require: Minimum certificate 4 in OH&S management; ideally, a Diploma-level qualification in a relevant safety discipline. Strong experience in a similar site-based role in the construction industry Robust understanding of the WHS Act and Regulations Experience in Safety Management System implementation Please note that relevant screening checks will be conducted as part of the recruitment process.
