An opportunity has just arisen to join their team on a long-term CSG contract in Queensland on a 19:9 Roster (travel in the 19) on a FIFO/BIBO basis (Brisbane). Offering an immediate start with secure workload, this is a great opportunity for an ambitious Engineer. Role As a Testing/QA Engineer you will work closely with the management team, the Quality Manager and field personnel in conducting quality control inspections, conduct compaction testing, manage production sampling/testing and manage/close-out NCR's. In addition, responsibilities include; Assist field personnel with QA/QC resources and IT systems. Track fusion jointing register and databases. Provide QA notifications. Monitor, prompt and report on Construction Team’s FIC/ITR/FTR completion. Liaise with the Procurement Manager to ensure that material traceability records are current, and registers are up to date. Attend Quality/Project Meetings and provide updates as required. Compile and verify completion and test records for handover. Definition and management of all pre-construction and front-end engineering deliverables to allow commencement of work packages in accordance with the Project schedule. Compile, issue and control Construction Work Packs. Background To secure this opportunity we are seeking a candidate with relevant tertiary qualifications, 5 years experience in the delivery of infrastructure projects (CSG & pipelines ideal), significant experience of HDPE construction management processes/technology, auditor certification (preferred) and sound understanding in the application and management of a Construction Management System i.e. CCMs or CMS. This role is based on a site in Queensland with the roster being 19:9 (travel 2 days out of 19) and is being offered on a FIFO/BIBO basis from Brisbane.
