Calling out to a commercially minded and skilled Financial Accountant to take on this exciting contract opportunity in a leading utilities business. Your day-to-day: Manage the end-to-end month-end close process, including preparation and posting of journals, accruals, and prepayments, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely processing, accurate coding, and proper reconciliation of transactions Perform balance sheet reconciliations, investigate variances, and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner Maintain and monitor the general ledger, ensuring all entries are recorded in compliance with accounting standards and company policies Assist in the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules for internal and external stakeholders Who you are: Qualified Accountant (CA, CPA or equivalent) Big 4 background advantageous Previous experience within a commercial business also advantageous Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail If this sounds like the role for you, click APPLY NOW or email madi.towner@perigongroup.com.au
