About the Role: We are currently seeking an experienced Landscape Trade Assistant to join a high-performing team for a 6-month full-time contract . This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in landscaping or construction who is looking to build a long-term career in the trade. You'll be working on a range of residential landscaping projects across the Queensland Coast, assisting with both hard and soft landscape construction. Key Responsibilities: Assist with hard and soft landscaping tasks on-site Operate bobcats and excavators (must hold valid operating tickets) Perform site preparation, soil works, turf laying, paving, and retaining walls Use hand and power tools for a variety of landscape construction tasks General labour duties and site clean-up Follow all WHS protocols and safety guidelines Key Requirements Experience assisting with landscaping and construction tasks Willingness to learn and develop skills in: Retaining walls (block, concrete sleeper, sandstone) Fencing (timber, Colorbond, aluminium) Decking ( timber and composite) Minimum 1 year of experience in the landscaping or construction industry Valid tickets to operate bobcats and excavators QLD Construction White Card Valid Australian Driver's Licence Physically fit and capable of manual outdoor work Benefits: Full-time employment on a 6-month contract Opportunity for long-term employment : after a 3-month trial may be offered a permanent role Immediate start Supportive, skilled team and professional work environment Chance to develop skills in multiple areas of landscaping Work on beautiful residential projects in coastal QLD locations About Our Client: Our client is a reputable landscaping company delivering top-quality residential and commercial landscape projects.
