About the Role We’re looking for a Program Development Officer to join our Professional Practice team and lead the development of high-impact educational content that supports the lifelong learning of physicians across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand. In this role, you’ll combine strong writing, editing and research skills with a collaborative mindset – working closely with content contributors and subject matter experts to design evidence-informed learning resources that make a real difference. What You'll Do Lead the development of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) educational content and resources from concept to publication Write, edit and structure content in collaboration with content contributors and subject matter experts Apply research and evidence to inform content, including literature reviews and environmental scans Provide editorial guidance to ensure content is clear and relevant Contribute to CPD program improvement through reflective practice and innovation Manage multiple projects and timelines, keeping key stakeholders informed throughout. Desired Skills and Experience Our Ideal Candidate Will: Hold a tertiary qualification or have relevant experience in communications, education, medical education, e-learning or health Have demonstrated experience in developing adult learning content Bring strong research skills and the ability to apply findings to educational resource development Be an excellent writer and editor, with a clear and engaging communication style Thrive in collaborative settings and enjoy working with a variety of stakeholders Be confident in managing competing priorities and working independently and as part of a fast-paced team.
