I’m working with a leading Australian manufacturer that has built a global reputation for innovation and quality. A role where finance meets supply chain, and your insights will help shape smarter decisions across production, operations, and management. This is not a back-office analyst role. It’s a hands-on, collaborative position where you’ll partner with stakeholders across finance, production, planning, and supply chain to uncover cost-saving opportunities, streamline processes, and provide the critical analysis that drives performance and profitability. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for Lead variance and cost analysis, explaining key drivers to stakeholders and recommending preventative actions; Partner with purchasing to track and explain purchase price and freight variances; Support production and planning teams in identifying labour and material variances in WIP, driving corrective measures; Ensure new products are fully costed and set up in systems prior to launch; Provide data-driven insights to supply chain leaders to support KPI reporting and annual budgets; and Investigate and respond to ad-hoc queries, delivering meaningful solutions that drive business improvement. To qualify for this role, you must have A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Supply Chain Management, or Engineering; CPA or CA qualification preferred; Strong background in finance, cost accounting, or business partnering within a manufacturing environment; Excellent analytical skills, with high proficiency in Excel and experience using data and ERP tools; Ability to act as a true business partner, translating data into actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders; and Strong communication skills with a collaborative mindset. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a dynamic and growing company in a role that offers plenty of challenges and opportunities for growth. If you're up for the challenge, we'd love to hear from you!
