The key duties of the position include The Role The APS 6 Data Analyst will be working alongside a scientist as part of the Mine Warfare & Clearance Diving Group (MCDGRP) at HMAS Waterhen, in Waverton Sydney, which will require the successful candidate to be based in Sydney. With limited guidance plan and conduct mine warfare post mission analysis, develop methodology for mine countermeasures operations and tactical development requirements, manage the specific software for mine warfare operations and exercises, manage the mine warfare command support system database, and draft trials and exercise instructions and post mission analysis reports. About our Team The Operations Analyst team consists of an EL 1 and APS 6 and work in tandem with the Mine Warfare & Clearance Diving Group within the Royal Australian Navy's Mine, Diving and Geospatial Force. Through this, we are able to engage with maritime geospatial agencies and mine countermeasure forces to prepare pre and post mission analysis for operations and exercises within the mine warfare community. The position is located in HMAS Waterhen of Sydney.
