About The Role You’ll lead all aspects of the kitchen, from crafting menus to managing kitchen operations, mentoring your team, and working closely with the leadership group. This is a hands-on, high-impact role suited to a chef who wants to build a legacy. You will be responsible for: Creating seasonal menus using fresh and local ingredients Leading, training and inspiring your team to deliver consistent excellence Managing food and labour costs, ordering, stock control and reporting Ensuring compliance with HACCP procedures and food safety standards Working closely with local producers and the wider management team Delivering on agreed KPIs and business targets through smart planning and leadership Engaging confidently with guests, staff and suppliers to create a positive and professional atmosphere Supporting the growth of a brand that values authenticity, story telling, wellness, sustainability and exceptional guest experiences. Who We’re Looking For You are: A creative, passionate chef who thrives on using local produce and seasonal variety Ready to make your mark – you see this as a chance to shape a destination, not just cook in one Someone who thrives in a remote environment where nature is your neighbour Calm under pressure, a composed leader who builds capable teams and leads by example and is driven by pride in your work Experienced in fine dining or luxury hospitality with a flair for presentation Excellent at managing both detail and big-picture outcomes Qualifications & Experience: Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent) 4 years’ experience in a similar Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef role for the head chef position, or; 2 years kitchen experience as a Chef de Partie or higher.
