About the Role: Join a well-established structural steel contractor based in Melbourne's CBD, delivering major commercial and industrial projects across Victoria. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Project Coordinator with steel experience to step into a key support role and playing pivotal part in coordinating project activities. Tasks & Responsibilities: Responsible for reviewing construction/structural documentation and technical specification Assist the Design Coordinator with design management requirements and shop drawing reviews Coordination and management of all subcontractor's onsite Reviewing and issuing of RFIs and liaising with the Contract Administrator Working closely with key stakeholders (riggers, suppliers, operations team) Ensuring projects are tracked and managed in accordance with quality, OH&S and program requirements Skills & Experience: 2 years' experience in the Construction Industry Solid background in warehousing projects Qualifications in Construction Management, Building and Construction, Engineering Knowledge and experience in structural steel - Mandatory Excellent people and time management skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience in Workbench (preferred not essential) Benefits & Perks: Competitive salary package, based on experience Work with a reputable, long-standing steel contractor Supportive leadership and career progression opportunity Central Melbourne CBD office with easy transport access Exposure to large-scale, high-profile projects About the Company: This structural steel contractor has built a strong reputation for delivering complex and high end projects.
