We have the role for you! Movie World is seeking an Apprentice mechanical Tradesperson who will participate in all on & off the job training to develop skills and perform duties associated with department requirements. This will be all whilst ensuring the successful completion of the assigned vocational training plan. Your day to day: • Assist Tradesperson(s) with various rebuilds and repairs • Assist Tradesperson(s) with inspection/repair on various plant and equipment • Complete requisition sheets to ensure inventory levels are maintained • Follow workshop procedures and maintain workplace in a clean and organized manner to ensure a safe working environment • Successfully complete all learning modules within the required timeframe. • Report any issues that may affect Engineering Workshop operations immediately to the Engineering Leading Hand • Work effectively within a team environment to provide excellent guest service and to promote a positive working environment What you’ll bring: • Ability to follow directions & communicate effectively • Proven mechanical aptitude • Current Manual Driver’s license an advantage • Must be able to work at heights • Completion of Year 10 Certificate
