About the opportunity Your duties as Carpenter will include - Perform formwork, framing, and finishing for civil construction projects. Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Install timber, plywood, and composite structures such as bridges, culverts, and retaining walls. Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently. Ensure compliance with work health and safety (WHS) regulations. Work collaboratively with site teams and supervisors to meet project deadlines. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Hourly rate $35.35 - $38.73 per hour (for first 8 hours) overtime $35 travel $29.50 meal allowance per day Permanent Fulltime role What you’ll bring to the team Qualified Carpenter (Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent). Minimum 2 years of post-trade experience in construction carpentry. Experience in civil infrastructure, formwork, and concrete structures is highly regarded. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Valid White Card (Construction Induction Card). Current driver’s license and reliable transport. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
