Right now, they’re looking for a hands-on Maintenance Fitter What You’ll Be Doing Working on-site in a well-organised, safety-first environment, you’ll be responsible for: Routine mechanical maintenance (preventative reactive) Fault finding and repair on mechanical systems Hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance Ensuring minimal downtime through quick response to breakdowns Contributing to continuous improvement and reliability projects Keeping accurate records using a CMMS Collaborating with production teams to get ahead of issues before they start About You You know your way around industrial machinery, take safety seriously, and enjoy working in a team where everyone pulls their weight. You’re confident working independently but happy to pitch in when needed. Here’s what helps you stand out: Trade qualified – Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical) Strong mechanical fault-finding ability Experience in FMCG or a similar high-paced manufacturing environment Comfortable working with pneumatics, hydraulics, and plant equipment Reliable, proactive, and always thinking one step ahead What’s on Offer No Weekends Shift Pattern : Day shift 6am - 2:30pm (flexible start time though eg. 7am) Site runs 24/5, there is overtime available if wanted Equipment: Conveyors, Sanders, Robots, hoists, lifters, Bearings, Belts, Saws, suction cup lifts, press for the laminate, electric motors.
