We are seeking a reliable and experienced Plastic Fabricator to join our team based in South East Melbourne. This is a full-time, hands-on role involving the fabrication of plastic sheet materials using a range of welding and fabrication techniques. The successful candidate will work both in our workshop and occasionally on-site, fabricating from technical drawings to a high standard. ____ Location: Braeside, VIC 3195 Employment Type: Full-time Start Date: Immediate start available ____ Key Responsibilities Fabrication of plastic sheet materials using extrusion, hot air, and butt-welding equipment On-site fabrication and welding when required Interpreting and working from engineering and isometric drawings Producing quality work from start to finish, with strong attention to detail General workshop duties and housekeeping Ensuring all work meets OH&S and quality compliance standards ____ Requirements Experience with extrusion and hot air welding (plastic welding certificate desirable) Ability to read and interpret technical and isometric drawings Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment Strong verbal and written communication skills Good understanding of workplace safety and compliance Self-motivated with the ability to work unsupervised Forklift licence and driver's licence highly regarded White Card and additional trade qualifications are an advantage Experience in sheet metal or cabinetry fabrication will also be considered ____ Hours of Work Standard 38-hour week: Monday to Thursday: 7:00am - 3:30pm Friday: 7:00am - 1:00pm Overtime (if required): Monday to Friday: 6:00am - 3:30pm (early start) Saturday: 6:00am - 12:00pm Note: Overtime is typically seasonal, with increased workload from October through to the end of May. ____ If you're ready for your next opportunity in manufacturing, apply today or contact (03) 9070 1111 for more information.
