As we continue to grow, we are excited to welcome a new team member for the following position: Field Sales Engineer, New South Wales (North) Role Purpose: Lead and develop Japan technical team with special attention for system solution as well as daily support and technical issue solving. Integrate Japan technical team to assist the Company to acquire new business and key account projects Strong focus on FA technical competence centre (Osaka) to improve current solution package by customizing product, integrated software and 3rd party product combination. Utilize FA technical competence centre (Osaka) to facilitate customer project verification and develop innovation demonstration Responsible for new product launch activities including conduct training, prepare technical presentation, develop demonstration, present new technology to key customers, and collect market feedback Work closely with global and regional Product Management (PM) team to develop Japan market trend and fulfill target industry requirement. On the other hand, learn and digest latest technology from global PM and transfer to Japanese team Role Accountabilities: Lead a customer-oriented agile team and foster specific custom requirements from concept into product solution Ensure sales project requirements are taken care of by sufficient technical support Liaise closely with marketing and sales team to enhance information flow, feedback and encourage effective teamwork around the region Develop technical team's competence and facilitate the solution knowledge including IIOT smart cloud manufacture, RFID edge computing, PLC function block, compound AGV function, volume measurement, machine vision system and etc Conduct “Powerweek” with comprehensive technical kit to launch new product in Japan market Work closely with PF Asia support team in Singapore and Global PM team in Germany to leverage the technical resource in a good shape Coordinate technical team to smoothly implement pre-sales and after-sales technical responsibilities Develop and present quality exhibits at seminar, exhibition and industrial association Realize and analyze target segment markets in Japan and interact with international networks and task force Support and coordinate the translation of technical documents. Role Requirements: Degree (or equivalent) in Electronics, Mechanics, Industrial Engineering or similar Native-language Japanese and business fluent in English (written and spoken) Minimum of 2 years management experience will be highly regarded Proven track record in automation projects and technical management Working knowledge of PLC-based automation platforms is highly regarded Good understanding of PC-based control and programming Knowledge of intermediate PLC Programming is an advantage Understanding of complex sensor applications and data handling in factory automation is advantageous Experience in using basic CAD for layout and technical drawing would be advantageous A team player with excellent communication skills, great problem solving attitude and a lateral thinker Based in Osaka office and willing to travel across Japan regularly and APAC periodically &xa;&xa; Are you excited about this opportunity?
