We’re looking for a Road Asset Data Officer to work with our client Main Roads WA, located in East Perth, on a fixed term contract until June 2026. Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in: Accurately entering and validating complex road and transport-related data (eg crash records, road asset data) into the Integrated Road Information Services (IRIS) system; Performing data quality assurance, including identifying and correcting data anomalies; Reviewing and suggesting improvements to data-related processes, liaising with technical stakeholders; Analysing technical reports and dashboards to track data integrity and performance. What you will bring to the team: Experience in technical data entry, data analysis, or data management roles; Proven ability to interpret and work with engineering or technical documentation, such as reports, drawings and/or specifications; Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on data quality and accuracy; Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, with familiarity in Access or other data tools being highly regarded; A background or qualifications in GIS, spatial sciences, or related technical disciplines is highly advantageous but not required; Comfortable communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders to clarify or validate data issues.
