Position Description Reporting to the Payroll Manager and working within a supportive team, you will be responsible for: Processing high volume payroll, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and company policies. Maintaining and updating accurate payroll data, including data collection and entry. Processing calculations including back-payments, redundancy calculations, terminations and leave entitlements Providing support and guidance to employees on payroll-related matters. Collaborating and communicating with internal stakeholders to resolve payroll related queries Supporting the Payroll Helpdesk as required and ensure that tickets are resolved in a timely manner. Interpreting relevant Awards and ensuring compliance with internal policies and legislative requirements Completing project work as directed by Payroll Lead/Manager The Successful Candidate To be a success in this role you will possess: Previous experience in a similar Payroll Officer position within a medium/large scale business Experience using Chris 21 or iChris is essential Understanding of and experience interpreting multiple Awards/EBAs High level attention to detail and accuracy A demonstrated ability to communicate complex matters in a simplified manner Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to work within a fast paced environment How To Apply To apply online, please click on the appropriate link below.
