About the Role: In this position, you will oversee and participate in the maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical systems and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety across renewable energy operations. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine and advanced maintenance, inspections, and repairs on electrical systems and equipment Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently, replacing or repairing faulty components Develop and implement standard operating procedures and training to meet compliance and safety standards Maintain accurate records of all maintenance, repairs, and inspections Assist in the installation of new electrical systems and equipment Provide leadership, technical support, and mentorship to junior technicians Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure efficient operations Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly Skills & Experience: Extensive experience in electrical maintenance, repair, and installation Knowledge of HV/LV systems and communication networks (desirable) Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and diagrams Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills Proficient with maintenance management systems and basic computer use Flexible with hours and willing to be on-call as required Prior experience in the renewable energy sector is a strong advantage Qualifications: VIC A-Grade Electrical Licence (mandatory) Valid Driver's Licence First Aid & LVR/CPR Certification Working at Heights certification (desirable) HV electrical qualification (desirable) Must have valid Australian working rights
