Blackmores Group operates in 11 markets, with headquarters in Sydney, an international state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Braeside, Victoria and additional offices in South East Asia and China. This is a hybrid role, where 2 days from home and 3 days in an office in Sydney – we have offices in Surry Hills, just beside the Central train station or Warriewood in the northern beaches – with carparking or public transport options available. This role is expected to work based out from our Warriewood campus. Purpose of role: The Quality Systems Lead is to support the maintenance and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) by providing accurate reporting, data analysis, and system oversight. The role will ensure that quality processes are effectively monitored, documented, and aligned with compliance requirements. Utilization of tools such as Power BI and trend analysis will be key to enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role reports to a Quality Manager - Systems and Culture and is looking for an independent contributor, builder, multi-tasker and eager to take ownership on continuous improvement to the QMS and deliver continuous improvement on a quality focused culture. Responsibilities include: Quality Management Systems: Maintain Quality Management Systems, ensure documentation, procedures and policies align with regulatory and company requirements and implement the better system as needed. Monitor and analyse quality metrics, driving data-based decision-making for improvements. Culture & Continuous Improvement: Champion a culture of quality by promoting best practices, training and engagement across teams. Develop and deliver training programs to enhance quality awareness and system adherence. Lead initiatives to enhance employee ownership of quality and continuous improvement. Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, industry standards and customer expectations. Identify and mitigate quality risks through proactive assessment and improvement plans that will be achieved not to rely on electronic system too much, seek a sustainable approach considering business continuity. Collaborate with leadership to align quality objectives with Blackmores strategy. Leadership & Stakeholder Management: Act as key point of contact for Quality Systems related matters. Partner with operational teams to embed quality-driven processes. Provide leadership in resolving quality-related systems issues and driving root cause analysis. internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with medical and regulatory expectations. Who are you? At least five years of experience in Quality with proven track record of leading teams to implement and develop or enhance high-quality management systems. Demonstrated leadership capability with proven experience in driving high quality execution and cross functional work Possesses logical thinking skills that enable them to identify fundamental principles and persist in problem-solving, even when working with unfamiliar systems. Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization/reporting tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret trends from complex datasets. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly agile workplace. Preferred Qualifications and Skills A Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering or any tertiary education related to quality field. A background in quality with working knowledge of TGA regulations. Proven relationship-building skills and the ability to establish new links with external stakeholders. Strong organisational aptitude and the ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
