The Role Reporting to the Head of Communications, you will lead strategic initiatives that: Drive recognition and awareness through destination branding. Align commercial positioning with partnership and content acquisition strategies. Adapt the masterbrand to uplift corporate communications. Elevate consumer brand experience across guest-facing communications and environments. You’ll also establish brand governance frameworks, tools, and processes, embedding best-practice brand management across a diverse group of stakeholders — from internal teams to high-profile partners. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement brand strategy across place, commercial, corporate, and consumer workstreams. Create actionable frameworks, messaging guides, and visual identity systems to ensure consistent brand expression. Oversee brand governance including IP protection, co-branding protocols, and logo usage. Lead ongoing brand evolution to maintain cultural relevance and strategic alignment. Build strong relationships with internal teams, leadership, partners, and external agencies to champion brand adoption. Drive brand-led cultural change, enabling all staff to confidently apply the brand in their work. About You You’re a strategic brand thinker with the confidence and capability to influence at all levels. You bring: 7 years’ experience in brand strategy/management within complex, multi-stakeholder environments (e.g. public precincts, tourism, sport, events, universities, large corporates, or government). Proven experience leading brand evolution, positioning, and identity projects. Expertise in brand governance and BAU brand operations. Strong stakeholder engagement and change management skills.
