About the Role Our client Food Security International PTYis seeking an experienced and self-motivated Senior Stock Person (Piggery) to work alongside and report directly to the Piggery Manager. This hands-on role requires a proactive individual with strong animal husbandry skills, excellent record keeping, and the ability to work to a high standard with minimal supervision. Farrowing house experience is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities Adhering to animal husbandry and welfare programs Selecting breeding stock and/or pigs for sale Feeding and watering pigs Operating farm machinery Preparing feed rations Administering vaccinations and medications Moving, loading, and controlling pigs quietly and efficiently Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe workplace Maintaining accurate computer-based records and reports Performing running repairs and maintenance Skills & Experience Minimum Certificate III in Agriculture (Pig Production) or equivalent At least 3 years’ recent and relevant piggery experience Excellent record-keeping skills and attention to detail Current driver’s licence (truck licence highly desirable) Ability to work both independently and as part of a team What is Offered Competitive salary between $55,000 and $80,000 per annum Subsidised accommodation available for the right candidate Supportive working environment in a regional setting How to Apply Please email your CV and cover letter addressing the above criteria This position is open to Australian citizens, permanent residents, and suitably qualified international applicants with full work rights in Australia.
