About the Role This is a full-time, on-site position for a Senior Industrial Designer located in Sydney, NSW. The successful candidate will lead product design and development from initial concept through to final production. Responsibilities include concept generation, prototype development, product engineering, and close collaboration with engineering and manufacturing partners. Take full ownership of projects from concept to manufacture. Serve as a subject matter expert, providing strategic guidance to clients and internal project teams. Ensure all deliverables meet the company’s quality management standards. Accurately estimate current and future workloads to support planning and resource allocation. Conduct thorough technical reviews of designs and documentation to maintain high engineering standards. Act as the primary technical contact for clients and project managers. Drive continuous improvement in design processes, tools, systems, and documentation. About You Minimum of 5 years' professional experience in industrial or product design Degree in Industrial Design or a related discipline (Bachelor’s or Master’s) Strong capabilities in product design and development Hands-on experience with prototyping and bringing products to market Proficient in design thinking and creative problem-solving Solid project management and organisational abilities Skilled in CAD software (SolidWorks preferred) and other design tools Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in team environments Benefits A modern office in central Sydney Great public transport connections and accessibility Highly collaborative team environment The opportunity to work on a range of exciting projects.
