The PIEF Director, Strategy & Partnerships role reports to the PIEF CEO and is a key partner in driving external strategy, strategic partnerships, and innovation within PIEF. This role is crucial in positioning PIEF as a broader representative body across Personal Injury and Disability sectors, bridging the gap between them. The Personal Injury Education Foundation (PIEF) is dedicated to delivering leading education and training programs, events, and initiatives for professionals in the personal injury and disability management industries in Australia and internationally. PIEF is owned by its members, governed by a Board of Directors, and operates as a not-for-profit member-based organization and registered training organization, aiming to enhance professionalism and capability in these industries. The Role Reporting directly to the CEO, the Director, Strategy & Partnerships will lead the activation of PIEF’s external strategy, partnerships, and innovation agenda. This high-impact role will: - Support the CEO and Board in advancing PIEF’s goal to become the peak industry body. - Drive systemic change through collaborative leadership, shared frameworks, and cross-sector engagement. - Translate strategic opportunities into actionable programs with measurable impacts. - Align, enable, and motivate internal teams to contribute to high-value national initiatives. - Position PIEF for sustainability with scalable products and enduring partnerships. About You To succeed, you will have extensive experience in governance, organizational leadership, and stakeholder engagement. You should have a strong background in business development within the education and training sector, with proven success in managing large-scale change, projects, and partnerships. Excellent communication skills (interpersonal, group, presentation, written) and the ability to influence in complex organizations are essential. You must be adept at prioritization in dynamic, ambiguous environments, with strong commercial acumen and experience in the VET sector.
