About the role South West Healthcare (SWH) is looking for a qualified and experienced Senior Mental Health Clinician to join our Centralised Triage Team . This team is responsible for conducting timely mental health screening assessments and ensuring consumers are directed to the most appropriate service for assessment and treatment. Where specialist mental health services are not best placed to meet a person's needs, the team facilitates warm referrals to the most suitable alternative supports or providers. As a Senior Clinician, you will play a key leadership role in delivering high-quality, trauma-informed, and recovery-oriented mental health triage services. In addition to providing direct clinical care, you will also support and guide team members, helping to ensure a consistent and effective service across a 24/7 roster. Location: Warrnambool Campus Classification and Salary Range (pro rata superannuation): Registered Psychiatric Nurse Grade 4: $112,465.60 – $121,113.20 Social Worke Grade 3: $101,597.60 – $116,074.40 Occupational Therapist Grade 3: $101,597.60 – $116,074.40 Psychologist Grade 3: $108,279.60 – $123,905.60 What you bring: You will be part of a collaborative and experienced multidisciplinary team, where strong communication skills, both written and verbal are essential. A solid understanding of relevant legislation, regulations, and contemporary mental health practices is also required.
