An exciting and meaningful opportunity exists for a passionate and experienced Mental Health Clinician to join our compassionate and dynamic Hospital Outreach Post-Suicidal Engagement (HOPE) team at Southwest Healthcare. About the Role The HOPE program provides specialised mental health services to individuals aged 16 and over who have been referred following a suicide attempt or are experiencing acute suicidal ideation. Our team delivers tailored, evidence-based biological, psychological, and social interventions to support each individual's unique needs and goals over a three-month engagement period. A proportion of work within the HOPE program will take place outside regular business hours, with shifts scheduled at least one month in advance. Position overview Type: Permanent Part time (72 hours per fortnight) Location: Warrnambool Campus Classification & Salary Range (pro rata superannuation): Registered Psychiatric Nurse Grade 3: $100,932.00 - $112,091.20 Occupational Therapist Grade 2: $88,030.80 - $101,197.20 Social Worker Grade 2: $88,030.80 - $101,197.20 Psychologist Grade 2: $94,478.80 - $106,906.80 Provisional Psychologists completing a 51 internship are encouraged to apply and will be well supported through a structured internship program. This includes regular individual and group supervision, as well as one dedicated day per week allocated for professional development, case report writing, and maintaining logbooks.
