YOUR NEW ROLE Our client is seeking an experienced Applications Engineer to join their team. This role reports into the Engineering Manager and is responsible for delivering technical product application support to customers and the sales team, whilst also providing broader engineering assistance across the business. This role will see you contributing to product development, process involvement and customer satisfaction. In this role you will: Respond to product application inquiries Provide tailored engineering solutions and product recommendations Deliver analytical and technical support both internally and externally Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement Work across technical support, application engineering, design, documentation & data analysis ABOUT YOU As an experienced Applications Engineer, you will be practical, hands-on, comfortable travelling and working in the field. You will bring both your technical knowledge and entrepreneurial energy to this customer-facing role as well as be willing to roll up your sleeves to get the job done. You will also bring the following skills / attributes: Engineering degree / or similar in trade - Mechanical Proven experience in an applications engineering role (mechanical is ideal) Strong analytical, problem-solving and data analysis capabilities Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, 3D modelling Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and VBA (ideal) Willingness and ability to travel regularly within NSW and interstate Industrial experience and product knowledge (particularly industrial sealing) is HIGHLY DESIRED BE REWARDED with a competitive salary superannuation, with bonus potential PLUS continued investment in your career and personal development.
