Join Us and Make an Impact. The Senior Program Specialist is responsible for the successful delivery of their assigned projects. This requires preparing, planning, executing, and controlling all aspects of the project either directly or through delegation with the project team. Successful delivery requires monitoring and controlling financials, works schedule, resources (including subcontractors) as well as managing the project stakeholders (internal and external). The key to this role is: - Being able to work in a flexible and nimble working environment - Understanding the concept of building services Key Responsibilities - Maintain overall responsibility for the delivery of complex projects to the required quality, schedule and budget - Ensures delivery of project is on time, within scope with zero or positive deviation. - Manage the contractual requirements of the project to ensure Honeywell's exposure is minimised and controlled through timely responses and internal escalation. - Maintain customer satisfaction at target levels - Developing trust and managing the relationship with customers and Satisfaction ensuring a shared understanding of key issues between all parties is maintained - Identify and pursue in conjunction with the account manager any further business opportunities with the customer - Ownership of the financial performance of the project and control billing and costs for the project - Provide regular and accurate estimates at completion of costs for the project - Controls cost and maximize productivity through the implementation of effective methods, standard processes and engagement of 5upply Chain team. - Ensure the design solution is fit for purpose in meeting the project requirements with the lowest cost of delivery. - Drive the project team to minimise the cost of labor in delivering a successful project using low-cost resources while minimising defects and rework. Qualifications/ Experience/ Knowledge - Bachelor of Engineering - Project Management Professional Certification or more than 5 years' PM experience - Further education in management or project management would also be advantageous. - Must hold a valid and unrestricted driver's licence and have access to a motor vehicle to travel to sites - Rail experience preferred but not essential - Maintain up to date immunisations as needed - 8 years' HVAC and BMS experience - Minimum of 5 years' experience managing projects including budget ownership/management, resource allocation, scheduling, forecasting and planning.
