Perspective Recruitment are seeking experienced Forklift operators and Warehouse operators to work with our client based in Braeside (moving to Dandenong South) Ensuring the safe and efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of inventory to meet business operations and customer demand. This position will require you to work ongoing, full-time hours Monday to Friday. There are multiple ongoing full-time hour positions, offering job stability and secure work for the financial year and beyond. Hours and Remuneration 7am-3pm $34 p/h Super Overtime opportunities Responsibilities: Accurate and timely 'picking' of components as well as assembly and production work in a manufacturing environment Receive and process inventory (unload, label, store) Dispatch duties and receiving Forklift operating Thoroughly inspect inventory for any damage and discrepancies To be successful: Current forklift licence (MUST HAVE!) Drivers license would be ideal Understand wight distribution for loading / unloading trucks Strong communication skills - can relate to people from different cultural backgrounds. Excellent attention to detail. Comfortable working independently as well as in a team. Able to accurately complete paperwork. Able to work with minimal supervision. Flexible, enthusiastic and ability to use intiative Able to prioritise in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable performing routine, repetitive tasks. Able to lift and move heavy objects - good physical fitness required. Able to stand for extended periods. Good numeracy and mechanical aptitude Working knowledge of process environments Experience in a similar position, within the lighting or a related industry, desirable.
