About the Role The Legal Systems & Configuration Analyst will be responsible for configuring the firm’s matter management solution. This role will work closely with the Business Projects & Transformation Manager and a range of stakeholders across the firm to support solutions that enhance our client and internal user experience. The Role reports to the Heads of Knowledge and IT. Duties of this role will include: assisting in analysis and documenting requirements for workflow and process improvement. applying the configuration, implementation and ongoing administration of the firm’s matter management system along with other internal applications. identifying workflow enhancements by conducting data analysis to assess system performance, user adoption and process efficiency. configuring processes, documents, and workflows within the matter management system under guidance. helping translate business and legal requirements into technology solutions by documenting needs and recommending system configurations. participating in testing and validating developed solutions to ensure functionality, accuracy, and positive user experience. This role requires the incumbent to work on multiple projects/applications at any one time, ensuring timely progress and reporting on key findings. About You We're seeking a candidate with a unique skillset. You have strong attention to detail, you enjoy problem solving, collaboration, and find satisfaction in providing a positive experience to end users. You will ideally also have: a strong understanding of legal document production processes and relationship with matter management; an understanding of configuring and managing matter management systems or similar systems. experience with document automation, workflow development, and business improvement. the ability to assist in translating business and legal requirements into technical configuration. familiarity with testing and troubleshooting technology solutions. an interest in learning about system integrations, data management, and enterprise applications. advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. good attention to detail, problem solving abilities, and willingness to learn. a Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (preferably, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Systems or Law) or equivalent.
