Full Time working onsite in Opteon's Geelong Office About the Role Working in a fantastic team of fun and tech savvy IT Professionals, the IT Service Desk Engineer is the first point of contact within the IT Service Desk at Opteon. This role will see you working onsite in Opteon’s Geelong office, providing exceptional IT support across Opteon and playing a key role in deploying equipment and hardware. Reporting to the IT Services Manager, you will be provided extensive training in everything IT and for the right person, an opportunity to progress into a level 2 role or another position within the team. Key Responsibilities Provide support to end users either over the phone, internet or in person Troubleshoot difficult or unusual situations in a timely manner Assist with the installation and deployment of new hardware and software Oversee asset and stock management Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Service Desk through sharing ideas and suggestions Provide high levels of customer service to internal and external stakeholders About you Demonstrated communication and problem-solving skills Some experience working in IT and/or customer service environment (desirable but not essential) Innovative – Can think outside of the box and bring new ideas to life Positive, organized, motivated and a team player You have a strong passion for technology!
