About the Role We are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join the team based at their Burwood office. Working closely with two Senior Payroll Officers and reporting to the Payroll Manager, you’ll play a key role in managing a national payroll of 250 employees across multiple sites. This role involves processing multiple pay runs and requires someone who can confidently navigate the complexities of an Aged Care workforce, including rostering considerations. Key Responsibilities • End-to-end payroll processing for multiple sites and pay runs. • Ensure compliance with relevant Awards, legislation, and organisational policies. • Maintain accurate payroll records and employee data. • Liaise with internal stakeholders to resolve payroll queries on time. • Support the Payroll Manager and senior team members with reporting and process improvement initiatives. About You • Previous payroll experience, ideally within the Aged Care sector (highly regarded). • Working knowledge of rostering systems or exposure to rostered workforces. • Strong understanding of Awards and payroll legislation. • High attention to detail with excellent organisational skills. • Confident communicator with a collaborative approach.
