They’re known for a practical, hands-on approach, strong tenant relationships, and a supportive team culture that values initiative and getting things done. Join them as their new Assistant Commercial Manager, a pivotal role responsible for coordinating maintenance, managing contractors, and supporting the broader property team. This hybrid role combines hands-on coordination of repairs and maintenance with administrative support, making it ideal for someone experienced in commercial property or maintenance coordination. About the Role In this varied position, you’ll assist in managing a commercial property portfolio, helping to maintain the physical condition of the assets and ensuring a responsive approach to maintenance and repair needs. You'll split your time between in-office administration (handling maintenance requests, compliance, scheduling) and being on the ground (conducting inspections, liaising with trades, checking completed work). Key Responsibilities Support the property management team with admin, data entry, and ad hoc tasks Attend sites as needed for inspections and follow-ups Respond to tenant maintenance requests quickly and professionally Conduct regular property inspections to identify and report issues Monitor compliance with WHS, building regulations, and safety protocols Coordinate and oversee reactive and planned maintenance and repairs Manage contractor schedules, quotes, and on-site access Maintain accurate records of works, costs, and inspections using property management systems Occasional emergency or after-hours call-outs may be required What You’ll Bring Experience in commercial property , or commercial maintenance coordination Strong organisational and communication skills A proactive, hands-on mindset and a good eye for property condition Comfortable using software systems (experience with Re-Leased, RP Office, or Cirrus8 is a bonus) Current driver’s licence and own vehicle Valid Real Estate Certificate or Licence (required for compliance) If you're hands-on, organised, and ready to take ownership of maintenance and repair coordination in a commercial setting, we’d love to hear from you.
