The Assistant Director, Digital Delivery Coordination (DDC) section operates in close collaboration with key stakeholders across the agency to ensure successful delivery and coordination of ICT initiatives. The role is responsible for promoting continuous improvement in delivery processes, ICT portfolio management and efficient use of resources. The successful candidate will identify opportunities to contribute to service design and delivery uplift aligned with business strategy and user needs and apply a broad understanding of organisational change management. The key duties of the position include Work with stakeholders and subject matter experts to promote consistency, innovation and continuous improvement of digital delivery processes; Manage quarterly planning processes, track digital delivery and report against the endorsed quarterly plans; Analyse and implement actions to resolve systemic delivery issues including those relating to sub optimal processes, competing priorities, interdependencies, resourcing and demands; Grasp opportunities to apply contemporary digital tools and processes to support ICT delivery; Leverage lessons learned from ICT delivery to improve capability; Develop and maintain a central repository of best practice resources for all aspects of the digital design and delivery life cycle; Work with the Enterprise Portfolio Management Office and other stakeholders to ensure ICT initiatives are appropriately categorised, resourced and initiated. Your skills and capabilities Broad ICT delivery experience in complex environments, including successful application of a range of frameworks, tools and methodologies; Experience in planning and managing ICT delivery, including resources and demand management; Highly developed verbal and written communications skills, and demonstrated ability to collaborate with a range of stakeholders; Strong strategic thinking, analytical and conceptual skills with demonstrated excellent problem-solving, leadership and organisational skills; Proven success in managing organisational change and innovation including dealing with stakeholder feedback, leading and coordinating small working groups, delivering presentations and facilitating discussions.
