A new role awaits The Analytics, Data & Actuarial Division at the NDIA provides information and advice on Scheme monitoring, financial sustainability and risks. They perform analysis and provide insights for the overall financial sustainability of the Scheme. The Actuarial Insights and Monitoring (AIM) Branch sits within the Analytics, Data and Actuarial Division, and is responsible for supporting internal and external stakeholders in understanding the impact of operational and policy decisions on the long-term sustainability of the Scheme. The Branch is looking for an Assistant Director, Quality to utilise qualitative file reviews to identify and understand key trends in Scheme experience, and to supplement quantitative analysis of the impact of policy changes on the financial sustainability of the Scheme. The key duties of the position include Where you can add value The EL1 Quality role will have a high degree of contact with stakeholders and will be responsible for leading the key deliverables, project timeframes and team goals for project-based work. Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to: Leading the design and completion of qualitative reviews and providing professional and technical commentary to substantiate observations. Using qualitative data to identify and report on key trends and issues and make recommendations for corrective and preventative actions. Providing oversight, management and responsibility for deliverables of project-based work under broad direction, managing stakeholders as the key point of contact for the project. Responsibility for the production and communication of detailed technical, professional and/or policy advice in relation to complex problems to internal or external stakeholders. Providing direction and coaching to junior staff undertaking qualitative analysis work. Effectively communicating (verbally and written) and presenting the outcomes of work undertaken to senior stakeholders, tailored to context. Building capability of the team through coaching others, providing performance feedback, conflict resolution and encouraging career development. Working across teams to build strong relationships within the ADA and other stakeholders within the NDIS. Providing a significant contribution to innovation and business improvement strategies and contributing to discussions with senior leadership on team's strategic goals.
