This role offers an exciting opportunity to advise clients on a broad range of employment matters, from workplace restructuring to complex dismissals, within a firm that values excellence, integrity, and meaningful connections. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting clients through strategic workplace changes and employment disputes, helping them navigate legal risks effectively. Key Responsibilities: Provide strategic advice and guidance on restructuring and redundancy processes, including downsizing, upsizing, and employee transfers, ensuring compliance with legal obligations and minimizing risk. Draft, review, and negotiate employment contracts, restraint of trade clauses, and confidentiality agreements to protect clients’ interests. Assist clients in managing employment disputes, including unfair dismissal, discrimination, harassment, and other workplace conflicts. Support clients in managing complex potential dismissals, offering strategic guidance on best practices and legal requirements to avoid costly litigation. Advise on legal considerations surrounding workforce changes, including complying with employment legislation and handling sensitive personnel matters. Represent clients in employment-related negotiations, mediations, and tribunal proceedings where necessary. Develop and implement employment policies and procedures aligned with current legislation and best practices. Keep abreast of legislative changes and emerging issues in employment law and provide proactive advice to clients. Qualifications & Experience: Qualified Solicitor or Lawyer with 10 years of experience in Employment Law, with a proven track record advising on restructuring, dismissals, and employment disputes. Ideally have clients or a practice to bring Experience in drafting employment agreements and restraint clauses is desirable. Strong understanding of employment legislation and legal procedures affecting workplace relations. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to advise clients clearly and confidently. A strategic thinker, capable of managing complex employment issues and mitigating legal risks. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with clients and internal teams, building lasting relationships.
