You will be involved in a variety of areas within commercial law, working closely with our experienced team to manage and resolve complex disputes while fostering strong client relationships. Key Responsibilities: Manage a diverse caseload of commercial dispute matters, including business dispute mediation, shareholder disputes, and business partner conflicts. Assist clients with transactions such as sale of business or assets, ensuring legal compliance and optimal commercial outcomes. Draft, review, and negotiate shareholder agreements, unitholder agreements, franchise agreements, and other key contracts to manage risk and protect clients’ interests. Support clients in franchising negotiations, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and legal standards. Provide strategic advice and representation in contract preparation, review, and dispute resolution. Guide clients through capital raising and finance arrangements to support their business growth. Help clients navigate business disputes with a focus on mediation as a swift and sensible resolution tool, aiming for efficient and outcome-focused solutions. Develop approaches for resolving business disputes methodically and strategically, safeguarding clients’ interests and minimising risks. Qualifications & Experience: Qualified Solicitor or Associate with a minimum of 2 years experience in Commercial Disputes or Litigation. Experience in business dispute mediation, shareholder agreements, transactional work, and contract law is highly desirable. Proven ability to manage multiple matters with a high level of attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. A proactive, client-focused approach with the ability to deliver innovative and practical solutions. Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and build meaningful relationships with clients and colleagues.
